How Do I Determine My Hat Size?

If you’ve visited one of our stores, we’d have you try on a hat or two to quickly find your perfect hat size. But this is a virtual world so we’ve developed an even easier way for you to determine your very own hat size, right at the computer.

At the top of every Bellissimo Hats page, you’ll find a link named “Size Guide” which leads to our all purpose hat sizing conversion chart. At the top of the chart, you’ll find the American hat sizes. These numbers represent the diameter of your head.

No, we won’t ask you to jab a ruler through the center of your head. Instead measure your head circumference one eighth of an inch above your ear using a tape measure, or use a string and then measure the string. This can be done in inches or centimeters. Remember, don’t make it too tight or too loose.

Now, go to the hat sizing chart, find your measurement and follow it up to your very own hat size. If it is slightly loose, we have sizer strips to make the fit ideal.
